A few summers back my husband and I traveled to Florida to visit some family in Sarasota. While there we spent some time in Orlando, home of the famous Disney World. This vacation was particularly special because we were able to share this amazing adventure with some of our extended family, including our favorite niece.
The weather was warm and sunny and the atmosphere was perfect - gentle breezes and swaying palm trees surrounded us. The whole area truly invoked feelings of amazement. We took peaceful walks on the beach and spent relaxing afternoons in a hammock. This relaxation was much needed as we were usually busy with a myriad of super fun activities like swimming, park-hopping, boating, and watching fireworks and laser light shows. And, of course we had some really great park adventures too! Universal Studios was the unanimous favorite.
We stayed in the Disney Wilderness Lodge thanks to the advice of the fine folks at [http://www.OrlandosBest.Net]. The Resort had tall pines that made you feel as if you were up North somewhere. The pool was awesome; it had a replica of Old Faithful that would erupt right in front of you. The log building had a great fireplace in the lobby. The Wilderness Lodge is set in the perfect location. You can take a boat directly from the Lodge to Magic Kingdom.
The absolute best part of the vacation was enjoying watching all of the smiling families, including my own, make lasting memories together.
Until next time, Happy Travels!
